Thank you for your interest in the Milton Keynes Marathon 2013, which will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May.

Nearly 4,500 runners signed up for the inaugural 2012 event and we're looking to increase this level in 2013. We offer a 'Big Marathon' experience with entertainment en route to help motivate you and to attract crowds of spectators to cheer you on. Our spectators did an amazing job this year and came out in their thousands.

We had some great feedback, which included a postcard from a 69 year old lady who said 'it was one of the happiest moments of my life.' Read more [ here ]

On the event day, you will receive a premium event experience to include:

- Single lap course
- A warm up on the main stage
- A beautiful and varied 26.2 mile route
- Clear signage
- Event marshals assisting all the way
- Comprehensive medical cover
- Entertainment en route
- Stadium finish
- A well earned medal and goody bag after the race

We learned a lot this year and will be making improvements for 2013. The whole stadium concourse will be open as well as more entrances and we plan to have the baggage indoors or in a large marquee.
