RACE CHARITY

The official race charity is the Childrens Cancer Institute Australia.

SHOES FOR PLANET EARTH

Shoes for Planet Earth is a charity that collects cleaned used running shoes from around Australia to give to those in need, at no cost to them, both in Australia and overseas.  To streamline this process we ask you to wash your shoes and then tie them together before dropping them off in our shoes collection bins.  We can then send them to those in need as soon as they arrive at our garage.  Collecting shoes is the easy bit but postage is difficult for us as it is expensive.  Please visit their website and make a tax deductible donation. Thank you for your support as without you we could not put smiles in people’s feet.

Shoes for Planet earth will have their trailer and stand at the finish of the Westlink M7 Cities Marathon. It will be set-up inside the athletics track of the Blacktown International Sports Park (entrance via Eastern Road, Rooty Hill).
