John has over 30 years’ experience in the resource and industrial sector and is currently the chairman and founder of Connemara Mining, Botswana Diamonds, Clontarf Energy, Petrel Resources and formerly Cooley Distillery. John has been a serial entrepreneur in the resource sector having created Pan Andean Resources, Minco, African Gold, Persian Gold and West African Diamonds - all listed on AIM. He also holds interests in a number of industrial ventures. John Teeling holds degrees in Economics and Business from University College Dublin, an MBA from Wharton and a DBA in Business Administration from Harvard. He lectured for 20 years in business and finance at University College Dublin.


Danuta Gray is Chairperson of Telefonica O2 in Ireland having been the CEO from 2001-2010 with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and mobile phone sector.   Danuta was previously Senior Vice President for BT Europe in Germany having spent most of her career in the UK with a short period in the USA and she has experience in sales, marketing, customer service and technology and in leading and changing large businesses. She serves as a non-executive director on the board of Aer Lingus plc and was previously on the board of Irish Life and Permanent plc and Business in the Community.  An Award Winning Business Woman, Danuta works on a non-executive basis for Telefonica in Germany and chairs their European CSR Programme.  More.


Gary is Chief Executive Officer of IFG Ireland and a director of IFG Group plc. A Chartered Insurer, he has fulfilled many senior roles in both the Life and General insurance industries and was Managing Director of Hibernian General Insurance Company until July 2003. He is currently a non-executive director of Chartis Ireland, Chartis International and Euro Insurances.                                              


Currently Sales Director at Microsft Ireland, he has been working in the IT industry for the last 14 years and joined Microsoft in November 2009 .  His passion is for customers and driving a connection with them to help drive results for their business challenges.  Martin is responsible for driving the overall partner model for Microsoft to enable its collective customers to benefit from the use of Microsoft's technology.  He believes in trying to make a difference and that pushing the boundaries of what can be done is really important as challenging what  can be done is a great way to develop solutions.  Martin is married with four children, and apart from spending free time with the family, his other passion is for sports of all kinds primarily GAA sports and soccer.





Divisional Manager with Enterprise Ireland with responsibility for Micro Enterprise and Small Business, Tom also manages the organisation’s network of regional offices. Previously managing the HPSU Division with responsibility for delivering a yearly target of new High Potential Start-Up companies, Tom has a wide range of business experience including international experience with 6 years in Madrid managing the Irish Trade Board’s Spanish and Portuguese markets.  Tom’s private sector experience was in the car industry with British Leyland.  He is a graduate of the College of Commerce and Trinity College.


Chief Executive Officer at Element Power Ireland, Tim is a chartered accountant with over 20 years commercial experience. He was instrumental in setting up SWS Energy where, as CEO and Executive Director, he oversaw nearly 200 megawatts of operational wind and 460 megawatts of development projects ahead of its 2009 sale to Bord Gáis. A longtime champion of the Irish renewable energy sector, he is former Chairman (2002-2009) and currently a director of the Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA). Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Cork, is a member of Institute of Directors and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

A partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers, Bob has over 34 years’ experience providing a range of audit and consulting services including IT security, forensic investigation, corporate governance, risk management and internal audit. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and of the Irish Computer Society and holds a number of NED positions. 



Michael is Chairman of the Corporate Governance Association of Ireland (CGAI).  A former Secretary General in the Department of Health, he also chaired the Higher Education Authority for a 5 year term. A graduate of the UCD programme in corporate governance, he is also a qualified SWiFT 3000 governance assessor.  Michael now specialises in governance consultancy as a Principal of Empeira Corporate Governance Advisors . He also sits as a NED on several boards.



As well as serving as the current President of the MBA Association of Ireland, Robert is the CEO one of Ireland's largest independent financial institutions, St Patrick’s Credit Union (ESB Staff) Ltd.  With over 30 years experience, mostly in Financial Services, he is a Change Management expert & has operated across all business disciplines – Strategy, Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR and IT.  Currently managing the MBAAI Mentor Programme in conjunction with the Guinness Enterprise Centre, he also co-author of the ‘Bluffer’s Guide to Banking’.
